With over 25 years professional music experience between them this duo brings a true performance to the creation of electronic music in front of your very eyes, incorporating live musicians, modern Dj’ing techniques and live video. The vibe is fresh and accessible the intensity is palpable and the show is unmistakeable, CityOf9s goes right for it, Live keys, drums, bass and voice. weaving unique buzz heavy basslines with the big drums of techno, couple that with some retro-centric synths and the very occasional vocal hook to blow up the spot. CityOf9s ranges from disco and chillwave to techno and party bangers leaving you scratching your head wondering how they made it all work, but trust.
Their tracks are featured on Rosso Corsa Recordings as well as Peak Hour Music and their second track “Love Technique” was featured on Peak Hour Music’s 2011 WMC compilation.
They we’re recently seen opening for Paul Oakenfold and lighting the place on fire, no not literally, though they’ve shared the stage some of the worlds hottest acts from Art Department and Treasure Fingers through LA Riots, MstrKrft, Jokers of the Scene, Felix Cartel to John Selway and Pascal F.E.O.S.
